Inspired by the #savagedance challenge started by Keara Wilson to Megan Thee Stallion’s song, “Savage,” Breezy called for a #savagerap challenge at the beginning of the Corona lockdown. The search began for MCs across the land to throw down hot bars on this beat in any language. Queer, trans, non-binary, femme, BIPOC rappers were most welcome.
Director, illustrator, and animator Vick Trochez @vicktrola had the idea of using the Brady Bunch-style grid popularized by the millions of Zoom calls to bring our rap roster to life.
It resulted in hot bars laid down in lockdown w/ ur fave rappers coming from Germany, France, and the US. Now available on all streaming platforms:
